It’s hot…and I like it…

For real, blogging from the patio, wearing a T-shirt and shorts at 8:30 a.m. is an activity that can only be enjoyed for a limited time in these parts. And I’m soaking it up.

I know the heat we’ve been having on the west coast is misery for some folks, but I would choose too hot over too cold 10 times out of 10. I’m a girl who is always cold and I soak up the warm summer days to keep me going in the cold and dark of winter.

It’s only supposed to be a perfect 86 degrees today but I snapped these pictures Tuesday evening when it was 95 in the shade on the patio.

Yes, I’m “glowing!”

Bobby looks very small in this picture. He’s not.

Pistol found a cool spot and crashed out.

Sark is ALWAYS looking for adventure.

Hot weather always seems to turn my creative brain to accessories. I made the white one on Tuesday. The middle two are hot weather creations from past summers and mom made the one with my name. A friend told me the other day that she didn’t know I made jewelry. I said I make jewelry in the summer.

Here’s another accessory I cooked up on my birthday last week, a fun little summer tote.

I think it’s a good day to paint on the patio. When I’m not fishing cats out of trees.  Are you enjoying any hot weather activities?
